Instructions for Transferring a Firearm to Sportsman’s Finest

 Any outbound long guns and pistols will require a HARD CASE in order to be shipped. Cases are available for purchase should you not have one for your outbound transfer.

To begin the transfer process, please email us at ffltransfers@sportsmansfinest.com with the following information:

Transfer Requirements:

1) Dealer Responsibilities:
Dealers must include a copy of their valid Federal Firearms License (FFL) in the shipment.
Include the recipient's full name and phone number. Failure to include these documents will result in processing delays.

2) Customer Requirements:
The customer must provide a valid Texas photo ID or Driver's License at the time of pickup.
Completion of the Federal Form 4473 in-store is required.
The customer must pass the mandatory background check.

3) Transfer Fees:
A transfer fee of $65 per firearm applies for customers with a License to Carry (LTC).
A transfer fee of $75 per firearm applies for customers without a License to Carry (LTC).

Pickup and Additional Information:

Firearms will be ready for pickup 24-48 hours after the shipment is received. Even if the tracking shows delivery, please wait for our call or text to confirm pickup readiness.
Firearm transfers will be held for 90 days. After 90 days, unclaimed firearms will be returned to the sender unless other arrangements have been made.
In the event of re-routed, mis-delivered, or lost packages, it is the customer's responsibility to contact the seller or shipper to resolve shipping issues.
Any issues with the firearm after pickup should be addressed directly with the seller or manufacturer.
