REGISTRATION TYPE:

1. Traditional Gun Trust
TexasGunTrust.com is our recommended provider for new NFA trusts.
​
2. Single Shot Trust
Silencershop offers their Single Shot Trust under the services tab. This trust functions like a normal NFA gun trust but is unique to each serial number. You will need to purchase one trust credit per serial number.
​
3. Individual Registration
This option registers the NFA item to the individual filing the form. It does not allow any other responsible persons to be added, but does not add any additional costs.
​
4. Uncommon Types
a. Responsible person only
This option is used if you have been added to another persons gun trust. You will follow the same registration steps.
​
b. Corporation
This option is used if the NFA item is purchased for use by a corporation. Registration is like a gun trust, but also requires a copy of the Articles of Incorporation to be added to your account.
Silencer Shop Kiosk
​
1. Fingerprints and Registration Data
a. The Silencer Shop Kiosk collects registration data and fingerprints. This is all stored on your accountusing your email.
​
b. Electronic documents may need to be uploaded to your Silencer Shop account. This includes a copy of a signed Gun Trust or Articles of Incorporation.
​
c. Add any responsible persons to the order from the Silencer Shop dashboard.
​
2. Photo
Download the Silencer Shop app and create an account or login using your email and password. Add a photo to your account, Stand in front of a solid color background and remove hats/glasses. The app is only used for photos and registration data.
​
3. Tax Stamp
As of January 1st, 2026, a $200 tax stamp fee is only required for machine guns, destructive devices. A $5 fee will be charged for AOWs
​
ATF E-forms account
a. Go to eforms.atf.gov to create an account.
​
b. Click of the green register button on the first screen
​
c. Ensure that your E-forms account data matches your Silencer Shop registration data exactly.
1) Full name, including suffix
2) Address
3) Email
​
d. Save the PIN you create during the registration and the usernam that is emailed to you after your account is created
​
Docusign
After all the above steps are complete, Silencer Shop will review your account information and issue a DocuSign. Complete this and wait for an email from Sportsman's Finest.
​
Certification
a. Visit the store and schedule a certification with Sportsman's Finest using the calendly link in the email
​
b. You will use your ATF E-forms username & PIN to certify/submit the form to the ATF. This will finish the application process and will change the status to pending approval
​
c. Wait for the ATF approval email, then pick up your NFA item(s) in-store.
